I had a question on California herp laws.My question is I have a book that says I am allowed to collect and pocess 4 pacific gopher snakes and 4 california common kingsnakes, where it usually is 2 snakes.Is this correct?

Go here for all the latest. This site pertains specifically to captive propagation, but it lists the current regulations for all CA native herps with respect to licensing, take, and bag limits. Just copy and paste the address into your browser.
This is good information for all to heep handy, as it relates to all of us who are known to ramble about in the field.
