2 Gopher snakes Sub Adult both 2 to 3 feet
1 Western banded Gecko Female Sub adult
1 Orange throated Whiptail He was a cool and passive find
2 Western Skinks One was just massive
6 Granite Spinys Ranging from 3 in. to a huge male
? Western Fence lizards Too many to count
? Side Blotched lizards Too many to count

Amphibians:

5 to 10 California treefrogs. It was cool seeing 2 to 3 under the same rocks.
6 to 10 Western Toads all little Juvi's in the same area.
Also lots of Millipedes and Centipedes
It was a fun day.
I will go the same place at the end of the month and I am sure there will be more critters out then.
I did not have a camera but will get a nice digi soon to post the .jpgs.

P.S. Make sure you have your fishing licence to date and follow the laws I saw a Warden cruising by in his Dodge Ram !
Have fun

Well Roadkill,
There is a chance it was, it was fat and longer than a usuall
sized adult Western Skink.
It did have stripes on it's sides thought so it would have had to be a big juvie Gilberts if it was. But that's the fun of it. I will check the same area for him next time and hopefully I will get a better look.
He was fast and dissapered before I could get a real close look at him. I didn't want to tear up the habitat.

Tony
