how to handle ADF

el_toro Feb 09, 2004 08:00 PM

I don't have any need to right now, but for the future, is there anything special to know about handling an ADF? I have two, and I know they have delicate slime coats. Can you just handle them bare handed or is there something to coat your hands with so as not to damage the slime coat?

Do not handle the frogs, it is very very stressful for them and should be avoided. However if you have to for cleaning or something then rinse your hands thuroughly in the sink so that you wash away salts and most oils (DO NOT USE SOAP as it will hurt em)then just prior to handling it i would wet my hands with the water in the aquarium. Please don't handle them much if at all and only do it if YOU HAVE to as again it is stressful.
