What is the "proper legal paperwork?"

HFR Feb 09, 2004 10:19 PM

I've heard some conflicting answers to this. What is the proper paper work that you should receive when purchasing CB baby gilas?
Thanks,

Joe

I would say at the very least, it should say:

1:The name of the person your buying it from and the name of the breeder, if different.
2:That they attest to the captive bred origins of the gila.
3:That they are transfering owership over to you.

Thanks for your response Josh. Although I'm mainly a snake keeper, I would like to aquire some legal CB gilas in the future. Heloderma have always fascinated me. And I strongly want to avoid anyone that is not on the up and up. Thanks again for the information.
