Hello
I live in Canada, and I hatched out rudicollis recently. But it really wasn't my fault. heh.

There are no good caresheets on rudicollis. There is a great FAQ page at Varanus.net. I suggest you start there.

You won't learn how to care for a monitor in an hour, or a week. Be prepared for confusing info, heated arguments and a few dead animals. You will keep making mistakes years down the road, but you will still be learning. If you like the challenge, get a monitor. If that's too much work for a pet (don't feel bad, its pretty discouraging at times), there are easier herps out there, that there are good caresheets for.
Good luck.
