An orange is an citrus fruit that you shouldn't be feeding your lizard but try puting some banana baby food on your finger and let it lick it off.Are the crickets missing in the cage?If they are he should be eating.

I put small slices of bannana in an he went to town hes even eating them out of my hand, but hes not goin after crickets yet, also I notice I used my aquarium light hood an he wasnt active when that was on now I spray him an every time I spray him if the lights off he try to get out an runs around he cage.... could the light have been bothering him that much or do I have a vegitarian gecko?

what other things can I put in the aquarium with my golden gecko, its a moist aquarium with 2 live plants an moss....tree frogs, anoles or any other geckos? what can I add to this so he has company...that he wont eat or get sick from.

Don't worry about providing him with "company", these are far from being social animals. Let him get settled, make sure he continues to eat. If fruit is all he's eating now, keep giving him fruit or fruit baby food, maybe try some fruit yogurt. Be sure to supplement with minerals and D3. Maybe after he's less stressed he'll start going after crix or mealies. Give it time, and try not to interact with him more than you have to for now.

I have had 2 rescued Goldens for 6 months now, and only once or twice have they eaten crickets. They seem to like tropical type Baby Food ( soft fruit ), and even though they will eat the baby food/friut, mine only seem to eat every 2 or 3 days.
