Okay, I know this may seem totally retarded, but I've noticed a change in "Cartman's" behavior. He used to be sleeping when I got home from work, and not wake up and be active until around 9pm... and then he's active in the AM (6am - 7am) when I get up. I've always fed him at 9am when he is awake, I'm nervous about putting crickies in his terrarium while he is sleeping. Anyhow, we went out of town this weekend, I fed him before we left Friday night. 4 crickets..and then we got back on Sunday evening, where I fed him 3 more crickets. well, when I got home from work last night, he was hopping all over the place! He's not usually up at that hour.. He was jumping from one glass pane of his terrarium to another.. and walking everywhere. I took him out and held him for a few moments, and he usually sits on my hand or climbs slowly up my arm and sits on my shoulder, but last night he was hopping all over like he had ants in his pants.. He kept hopping to the top of the tank too. (20gallon) He ate his crickies last night, but I guess, I'm just concerned, as I've never seen him this active.. I've had him for a month now.. perhaps he's just settling in? I am careful that I clean his tank walls w/ a paper towel and water every couple of days, I clean his substrate at least once every 2 weeks, if not more often. I pick up his little poopies when he lays one... I've got a plastic (Eco-terra) vine in the tank and a pet store log w/ nooks and crannies he can get into... I have his little water bowl, and I fill it only w/ spring water.. I feed him 3-5 crickets every night... and he eats them, he doesn't look like he's getting fat around his face, but his belly is really blown out... I keep his temp around 78-82 degrees and his humidity goes from 60% - 80% (80% when I just finish changing out his tank, it stays there for a few days..then drops and hangs out around 65% - 70%)

Am I just being a paranoid mommy??? I'm a bit freaked because my Fish (Betta) that I had for 8 months died last week. I think I'm over reacting..and I feel guilty about staying an extra night away on our vacation..

Please someone, let me know if I'm crazy?
