My Red Auric Pictures

mgn Feb 10, 2004 11:16 AM

I've seen some really nice Red Aurics shown lately and thought I would post a fwe of the ones I am working with.

The blotched animal on the top is a female who was bred to a normal blotched male last year, one of their offspring is shown in the middle, the baby is about 3 months old. Amount of red/orange is increasing as they age.

The red striped animal on the bottom is a female that was bred to a red/pinkish colored male this year. She laid her first pair of eggs a few weeks ago.

Thanks,
MIKE

. . . you people have to QUIT posting these awesome rhac pictures. Cripes, I've been reaching for my wallet every time saying "Just one more, I can afford it . . . " Then it's one more cage - another huge order of CGD - then I need some more artificial plants - then one more rhac . . .

Hi My name is Monte, and I'm a Rhacaholic . . .

BTW - beautiful and unique looking rhacs. Very impressive . . .

Thanks,
I actually have two striped females that look like this, the other has a little more red in the head. I have the one not pictured with a normal black striped male. I'm looking forward to see what color babies they throw.

very cool, get some pics of that other female for us

I'll work on that. the reason why I did not post one in the first place is that she lost an eye somehow when just a few months old and she's not the prettiest in the face. She has no problems eating and she is currently gravid.

If anyone else has a male red auric let me know!!! All of my red males will not be ready until next year.

If you get a chance take a pic of the red male aurics you are raising up. I would be very interested in seeing pics of them as well!!

Thanks,
Steve

are killing me here. Steve, I don't want to hear you not selling any this year. I might have to resort to "unconventional" methods in obtaining a red gargoyle...lol.
