gorgon1953 Feb 10, 2004 11:34 AM

sorry for using this forum for this type of question but I need a pair of emerald swifts for an ongoing breeding research study and find it imposable to find these animals via retail or wholesale breeders. Please help as it is a longterm project with the breeding season fast upon me.

Hi,

I don't know off hand who has them. You have to check classifieds, and online breeders.
I had gotten my male over 2 years ago, from classifieds. The female I found in a local petshop

Sorry, MINE are PETS, and my female Suess is expecting soon, I cant wait to see live birth, hope I don't miss it !

Good luck with your search !

Nice animal. They are very hard to find especially the females, which is surprising considering just how good a pet they are.

They are so happy these days also, I took the chance and moved them into a 65 gallon reptarium.

And they are having a blast.
Never sit still, chasing down crickets, and they can climb anywhere on the sceen part, and never get their nails caught.

I have really gotten to see their speed in hunting, very cool !

Heres my female, whos Expecting in March

You have a very nice set of these guys with great photos. Would you sell the offspring of this years clutch? I have several animals in a converted bedroom open area enclosure but haven't any young yet from mine.

Thanks for the kind words, appreciate it !
