what do you think? male? he's brown at about 3-4 years old and kind of small i think for his age. to me he loks male underneath but female on top
and when i held him near my male saharan just to see what he thought of him. he kept getting up on his side like he was trying to roll over

I think she's probably a "her"...my female mali has the same prominent femoral pores that are actually about the same size as the male's outside of breeding season...Once breeding season starts the males pores become noticeably larger...Also, I see that she has a relatively short, thick tail; the males generally have longer, somewhat more slender tails...Between the coloring, tail shape and femoral pores I think it's a good bet she's female..Of course, short of laying a clutch of eggs, there are no guarantees I know of.. She IS pretty...

I have to agree with Shelly. I think "George" is really..."Georgette". Don't feel to bad about the gender confusion she might be feeling....I named my baby Somalian "Suzy-Q"! With a name like that, I better be right!

Well, Arthur is quite a ladylike, feminine name for my girl, but she doesn't seem to have any lasting trauma or mental scarring.
