Your link didn't work, but any good set of 6 ball-tipped probes are fine. The cheaper sets without ball tips are not as good, IMHO. Just make sure you know how to use them safely and properly.

Just for reference, I have a set of good ball-tipped probes and I almost never use them. With practice, you can sex most species of snakes in much less invasive ways. That said, some species are better sexed by probing.

I agree with Chris. I seldom ever probe snakes other than neonates. I only probe neonates because I don't like everting. Neonates can be difficult to sex visually. Adults of most species are easy. There are some, such as Green Tree Pythons, that should never be probed as babies and should be probed as adults ONLY if you really know what you are doing.

Some others, such as Rattlesnakes and some other Crotalid snakes can be tricky to probe because of the structure of the hemipenal pocket.

Make sure you have some knowledgeable person show you how to probe before you try it on your own. It is posssible to cause serious injury to your snakes if you do it wrong.
