QUESTION? maybe silly!

I have a beardie that was given to me as a hatchling now about 5 mos old. This Beardie, named Bent, has a kink high up in its tail where the tail takes a right angle turn and thins down fast. A birth defect. Now the head looks like a girls head, the vent looks like a boy on one side but not the other. I cannot decide if I have a boy or a girl? Either way Bent will not be breeding but I wanted to know in case I wanted to house Bent with other females. I do not have a camera and it is a 2 hour drive to the Reptile Vet so I am asking is ther any other way to tell?

if he's only 5 months old you won't be able to know until later, i recently took mine to the vet, he is and was 6 months and she had no idea if it was a male or female. you could call either a, pet store, a vet, or a breeder. either of them would know or wouldn't, they all will probably say that you wont know until he/or she is older. i called many times at a reptile store that i thought was very helpful, petstores actually helped me quite a bit!
good luck!
