Perfect lizard for me?

pocketfulloffire Feb 10, 2004 03:17 PM

Ok i want a lizard that can be tamed easy, tolerates being held often,no more than a foot and a half long. What lizard should i get? i do not want a fat tailed gecko or a leopard gecko.
-----
I only know 3 ways to do things.
The right way.
The wrong way.
And my way which is the wrong way only faster.

Ryan: It's OK, I'll handle it. I read a book about something like this.
Mick: Are you sure it was a book? Are you sure it wasn't NOTHING?!

Ryan:Help me someone i have a mortal wound!
[Kyle runs over]Kyle:Where does it hurt?
Ryan:Oh i would have to say.....IT HURTS IN THAT BIG BLOODY HOLE STUPID!!!

If your looking something with some size, may i suggest an argentine black and white tegu? adults get about 4 and a hlaf feet, most of it tail.. I have 1.1, and their tame as dogs!! If you don't want a monster, a bearded dragon would be great too... check out some of the reptile adoption pages- I know the mid michigan reptile rescue center has a bunch!! A uromastyx would be another good choice. My advice to you is to chose something that's more of a desert dweller- it's been my experience that cage maintinence is much easier.
