im wandering what the cliffs, and stones are made out of in ur enclosure. also i got more pics down the forum a tiny bit of my snake in her water.

Hey Nevin,
I've been racking my brain trying to remember what this guy told me he thought the material was that was used to coat all the sculptured stuff in my enclosure. The guy who built it claimed to have developed the stuff himself. He turned out to be a bit of a bull**** so I dought that is true. I do know that he used expandable foam that he then carved into the desired shapes, then coated them with the mystery compound. The stuff is as hard as a rock but because the inside is foam, the entire enclosure is relatively light (key word, relative). Though he was a bit dishonest and a one month project turned into five, he did an exceptional job. The guy really was talented and knew his herps. Another guy on this forum contacted me once and he told me what he thought the compound was after I described it to him. Cannot remember what he said. The enclosure has held up really well and brings me alot of pleasure (my snakes dig it too).
Saw your pics. Now that she's got a fresh coat when are you going to show us how she looks on that crushed granite? Also it looks like you've got two different types of plants in there. What kind are they? How do you pot them? Does your snake break the limbs and/or knock the plants over? What is that stuff you use to treat the water? Obviously its non-toxic, but what does it do?
Alright, don't want to burn you out on questions, but I'm always interested in what others do in their enclosures.

first thanx, i never thought about using foam. awsome idia. but for u questions. i have 3 types of plants2 are fake and one is real. the 2 fake ones are haning up on the wall above the basin. one is canabis, the other is pothos (spelling). the real one is also pothos. its roots are planted directly in the crushed granite. i have 3 other types of real plants in the substrate. one is bamboo, i donno bout the other 2. and saprisingly to me and every one else that sees my cage, her and the baby dont dig up any of them. to keep the water clear i use a filter for a 20 gal. tank. but the stuff i put in the water is exo-terra biotize waste degrader. it has micro organizems that grow in the water, and break down the waist(eats it and lives off of it). if you wanna kno ne thing else id be more then happy to let u kno.

You have a fake cannabis plant in your brb's cage! That's awesome, haha, would be cooler if it were real . Well, maybe not,don't want your boa on drugs, haha...

no its not that i dont want my boa on drugs im just afraid she would distroy it befor it was put to good use.hahahahahahaha

The fake plant other than the phothos does not looks more like bamboo than cannabis.

but the package said cannabis so yeah...lol
