Not sure if you mixed up the scientific names or the common names, but Litoria are tree frogs from Australia, and you listed Whites tree frog. Green tree frogs are Hyla cinerea. Both are fairly easy to keep, but whites require a fair amount of room (20 gallons per frog).

Check the classifieds and the tree frog forum. No one refers to them as green tree frogs as if they did, there would be a whole mess of problems. Generally, when someone says green tree frog, they are talking about Hyla cinerea. They are found in the South and Southeastern US. Generally on the forums you will see them as such. If you say green tree frog, since the majority of the people are from the US or Canada, then most likely people will assume you have a small green tree frog from the US. Common names are a major hindrance though...This is why latin is just better all around.

Litoria caerulea in the U.S. goes by the common name whites tree frog, or dumpy tree frog. I have two, and in my experience, they are quite easy to care for as far as frogs go, and are a very enjoyable pet. they are very handlable (shouldn't do too much though), great eaters, and are cute! There is much info about them on the tree frog forums. Good luck if you decide to get a couple!

I have two White's, aka Dumpys. They are really cute, easy to care for, and fun to watch. I don't think you could go wrong, but they do need a large vivarium. Good luck.
