I stumbled across this website tonight. Is it new? Anyone used it?

Ive heard mixed results about it.I would rather buy from the big names or private breeders i personally know than take a gamble there...Paul.

A few of them seemed kind of fishy to me. One seller listed the snake as being bought from a pet shop, then a couple lines down it said the snake was wild caught!! Very bad impression.

It has been around for about half a year or so. There was alot of discussion about it on the bearded dragon forum awhile back. A search under reptibid on that forum should bring out the bulk of the talk about it. If I remember correctly, Reptibid is owned or operated by Fluker's Farms. I can't recall any specific complaints or compliments about the site myself but personally, I don't use it.

I have been selling on Reptibid for quite a few months now and I like it. Actually, Rich Z recommended it to me after he shut down his Fauna Auction. I like the fact that there is a feedback system and IMO you can tell a shady person from someone who is legit most of the time just through their ads and correspondence with them. For example how long it takes for them to respond to emails, the ad itself, knowleadgability, quality pictures, feedback etc. all help. Most of my stock comes from the big breeders but I cant sell my offspring at their prices and I hate to "sell out" to the local shops at wholesale prices which just kills the market and leaves you sometimes not even breaking even. Reptibid is free unlike others and allows people to decide the market value. If your not careful, you can be burned just about anywhere anytime these days..you just have to be an informed and discriminating buyer. Just my 2 cents.
Nate
