What are the environmental conditions of the gator's enclosure? Air, basking, water temps? etc....

he is in a temporary set up of a 50 gallon tub with a basking spot thats all the way out of the water and the lamp is a 150 watt zoo med and sometimes he opens his mouth when he's in the water and like jerks his head a few times like he is cleaning his mouth or something

What is the water temp? I have found that the small guys like to stay in the water most of the time and don't always get too much out of the basking area. I wouldn't worry too much, my alligator used to go a few weeks between feedings. First thing I would do is raise the temp of the water but make sure the alligator can not get to the heater.
