Hey, I just thought I would post a message kinda directed at the people who've been posting about taming/handling geckos.. I too got a really young baby, not quite sure how old but small enough to be able to climb up on and perch/fall asleep on a one inch high piece of paper towel that went and inch up the sie of m cage *lol* anyways, she too was very skitish, would drive for the hid when she saw me move in the room and would almost have a heart attack if something touched her whilei was moving anything in her cage.. but it's been almost 3 months that i had her, and she's still little, but lately she's been climbing on me and hardly scared at all. I tell you, it makes a big difference if you put your hand in palm down, rather than palm up. she would never walk on m hand palm up.. But last nite, she climbed on her piece of wood, i put my hand by it, and she climbed on and licked/crawled her way up my arm, looking at me with those big gecko eyes And seemed quite comfortable. So ia m just saying, dont give up, no matter how flighty they are at first!
