Well i traded a pair of T albino yellow ratsnakes(jv) for a male hybrid and i am purchasing the female. The female is 7 foot and the male 4. I was wondering if i was blessed with a good deal. I have tried researching to see how many hybrids are out there but no luck i was told that there was only 1 clutch produced but i am unsure i was also told that the only one that has produced them is a guy by the name of Dwight Camren. I was wondering if that is true? Does anyone know of a way to contact him? Also what are these hybrids worth. Thanks

Dwight Cameron was in Florida the last time I spoke with him, but that was many years ago and I don't remember what city he lived in. Post some photos when you get a chance as I am curious as to what they look like. Thanks,

Kelly

` Here are a couple of pix of hybrid Anacondas I've collected in the last few years.
` Both are of Yellow x Green crosses.

` This one I think I got from NERD's website, some time ago.

` This one I didn't label. It may also be from NERD's website. I am not sure.

The hybrids look at least from the pics just like a normal green. So how would someone who doesnt know it;s snakes backround know weather thiers is hybrid or not? Just curious.
Or is there any way to tell at all?

` Both of those pix look to me like a Green, with the head of a Yellow. Also, in these pix, no orange is apparent. The nuchal markings are also interesting. Young Yellows also usually have connecting saddles.
` I've never seen one in person so, I have no concrete impression to compare these pix to.
` I will say that all the folks asking for and spending, enormous amounts of money for a snake that looks different from the norm is really entertaining to me, but sad for the snakes. There's so much more to these critters than what they look like.
` A while back I saw an ad for a Burm whose patterns spelled words. The price asked was ludicrous. The forums and classifieds for Balls, and Boas, are mostly about " my valuable, unique, and desirable ( by you ) possession." Some of those Boas with aberrant patterns look so sad, in comparison to a healthy, normal animal. Yet, people shell out big bucks to get a critter that is different looking from someone else's.
` I must be weird, but I believe that unusual behavior beats looks, every time. I've got a group of beautiful pink Boas. You try to hand feed one, and that's exactly what you'll do, hand feed them, right up to the elbow.
` To me, this is unique.
