Just out of curiosity, what age would you say Leopard Geckos are when they arrive at the Petsmart stores?.

I got one of mine there, and he appeared to be approx. 2-3 weeks old.

I was wondering, because yes, I broke down and bought a male at one this past Friday.

There is this lady that will go to Petsmarts and buy reptiles and then they said she always returns them. Well the one I bought was one she had returned that she had bought from another Petsmart, and Petsmarts don't except returns of reptiles if they were bought at a different Petsmart store.

So you figure he had to have been returned within the fourteen day guarantee period and then the Petsmart that I bought him at said that he had been there about 4 months. So I was just trying to figure his age out. But get this, he is right now 9 1/8 inches.

He is high yellow,tangerine with rich black thick markings on him.

If he is already 9 inches, he is full grown. so i would guess he is at least 10-12 months old, but he could very well be older. I know they sell adults as "jumbos", and I used to work at Petsmart for about 3 years, but they never told us just how old the jumbos were. did you buy it as an adult (jumbo), or did you pay for it at baby price (like, $30?).

They called him a Giant Leopard Gecko, and yes I now they are just regular geckos. I also agree with your theories.
