Container big enough for a lay box?

VTEC Jun 08, 2003 05:41 PM

I have a square tupperware container that is 5"x5" and 3" in height. Is this too small for a lay box or is it ok? If it's good should I cut the hole in the top or on one of the sides?

thanks in advance.

I'd put the hole in the top of your container. Every time i try a side door, the substrate gets kicked out, and it messes up their paper towels. Good luck!

5X5 should be fine, but i prefer a little bigger of a lay box. Mine is around 8 by 5 and its nice and roomy. Should be big enough though. Stupid me put the hole on the side and now the dirt gets kicked out whenever she lays, so id put it on the top, alot cleaner. L8er
