Just curious who has sarawaks out there...

My two lonely females are waiting to rob the cradle right now, but I wanted to know who else is keeping them. I know a couple of you

And they've been breeding like BUNNIES for the past couple of months!

But you knew that (well, that I have them anyway).

Here's an old picture, she came from Bob Garby. She just moved up from rat crawler to a good size small rat with no problem. Can't wait till the end of this year, should be looking better than ever by then.I need a male now.

I have a male from Bob. And he is doing fine for me also. The trouble I have is that I have two females from the 1999 hatchlings from Chris Carmichael and they are both girls. I am in no major rush as I am expecting clutches from my other borneos very shortly. By the time they will be able to breed they will be five years old. The biggest is around 25 pounds and for her that is on the lean side. She just grows longer and stronger by the month. I would not be surprised if she passes the six foot mark by her first breeding. I do love them. So much more personality than my other shorttails.

Hey Rich,
I have one gorgeous Garby, juvie female too, but she's not ready yet - could be a while. However, they are planning on building another power plant in my neighborhood, which could speed the growth process some turning her into a freak mama. With the energy delivered from the plant indirectly, we could all turn into freaks. Not that I'm not already. LOL!

I'll say "I'm happy with progress thus far." We're palpating the female tonight, so cross your fingers.
