Is it too late to breed IJCP's...more

Jamie Feb 11, 2004 06:29 PM

I have a adult female ijcp who has been cooled but I did not have a mate for her...now I have come across a male that has also been cooled but I was wondering if it is too late in the season to sucessfully breed these two. Thanks

I've heard of sucessuflly bred pairs of carpets being coupled all the way into May. No harm in trying as long as they both went thru a cooling phase.

Make sure you look into an incubator now.

Its never too late. Some have been successful breeding throughout the whole year.

I just purchased an amazing pair of IJCP(thanks Keoni) and was wondering the same thing. I think their is a goog chance they will breed and it doesn't hurt to try. Good luck to you!
