Conjoined leopard tortoises separated in AZ...

I've seen a few conjoined specimens but this is the first actual separation I've heard of.

They bought it the day after christmas with the intentions of getting them seperated. Nice to hear, and even nicer it went well. Cudos to the owners and the vet!

Good for them. It certainly makes the people on the classifieds selling the conjoined russians for 30,000 look even more revolting.

Jarchow is an excellent vet, Probably one of the best around for tortoises. If you live near tucson, you are lucky to have him. I used to email back and forth with his ex-wife because she had a baby Galop, but I lost contact with her. If she is reading this, please email me. Thanks
