How often................?

SlipKorn Feb 11, 2004 10:31 PM

How often would you feed about a 2 ft corn. He's feeding on large fuzzies/small hoppers right now. I am doing one every 3 days. Is this ok or not? Thanks.

That's probably fine but from what I know, once they reach adulthood I'm pretty sure you cut it back to 1 mouse every 5-7 days.

My corns are fed once a week. Once they're on fuzzies once a week is plenty.

>>Every three days is just too often in my opinion.
Try two pinkies once a week and if it does fine with that try moving it up to a fuzzie a week and work from there.

They don't need to be fed more often than once per week as hatchlings and once every two weeks is fine for adults. My yearlings get two peach fuzzies roughly every two weeks. My adults get one or two mice every two weeks.

No matter what size they are there's no need to feed a Corn every 3 days. Once they reach adulthood I only feed my males once every 10-12 days and a small adult mouse at that. Seen too many fatty deposits.
