Taming down ALBINO SONORAN GOPHER>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

cv768 Feb 11, 2004 11:28 PM

We recently added 2 albino sonorans to our collection and they are still fairly small so the bite can hardly be felt but I was wondering if anyone has any special or unique way to taming these guys down a little...

Or is it simply just handling them, taking the bites as they come, time and patience.

Make sure they have good hiding boxes or spaces, make sure the temp is not too hot ( keep it 78-82 ), and handle them often. They should calm down.

If I walk in the room during the summer and I can see by the thermometers that it is 84, then I turn down the heat slightly to where it is 78 or 76 at the least. Then, I determine how much to raise it in the morning.
