Threw up a bit

Priest Feb 12, 2004 12:21 AM

He has been acting normal all day, ate quite a bit at about 1pm, and he was given a few crix a while later. I got home today at about 9pm and he began to throw up. Not too much, maybe about 2 - 2 1/2 worms (which is what I gave him at about 1). Any way, after he threw them up, he bounded back as if nothing happend. He just had a bowel movement, his color was good, temp was good, he was responsive, curious. Aside from the worms comming up, everything was fine.

Just wondering if I should worry about it. What I was thinking was, if it continues tomorrow, take him to the vet; however, if he acts normal for the next couple days, assume it was an isolated incident.

Sound good? no?
Thanks

Joe

That sounds like a good plan of action. Last yeat, one of my male beardies did that twice. I think he just totally pigged out on superworms. He has never ever done it with crickets. I did exactly what you are planning, just watched him and offered him some pedialyte. It didn't seem to bother him a bit, and he is fine now. But man it scared me to death when it happened!! But if I saw it happen again, and saw a change in his stool, I would definately take him in!!
