paradisio Feb 12, 2004 02:03 AM

Just wondering if someone could provide me to a link to a good correct corn care sheet?

Was looking forward to getting one as my first snake (good idea?)

I congradulate you for wanting to do some research before you make an impulse buy.Corns do make a great first snake.Buying one from a reputable dealer will take you a step ahead of the crowd. At the top of the forum is a list of breeders who offer caresheets to the masses.Kathy,Don,John all have a variable smorgasboard of info on corns. After reading up all you can on them and you have further questions we all would be glad to help you out.I must warn you they are addicting....Paul.

Corn snakes are great first snakes! I have 2 now and a milk. Also a jungle carpet python.

Here are a couple of care sheets I found that have good info:

www.Reptilecenter.com
www.Exoticpets.about.com
www.szgdocent.org/cc/c-corn.htm
www.anapsid.org/corn

Bill and Kathy Love have a great book on corn snakes.

as it is the most thorough book weve read.

Hey...weren't you the guy who was just about to buy 2 iguanas but only had a 30 gallon tank?

A corn snake would be perfect for you.

They tame down easy, require less time, and aren't expensive to feed or house. With that 30 gallon tank of yours your corn snake would be more than comfortable...just make sure to get a tight fitting lid.

GOOD LUCK.
