Cage for savannah

tanmuscles Jun 08, 2003 06:56 PM

I'm planning on building a cage for my baby savannah in a couple of weeks. I've got most the stuff worked out, but i'm wondering what to do about the front. Should i used glass or plexiglass? Which would be more cost effective? Could he break glass? If plexiglass, where can i get it and about how much can i plan to spend for a 6x4 piece? Thanks.

It's my experience, and other's I'm sure, that plexiglass scratches easily. I would go with glass. I won't guess on price, but I'd bet good ol' glass is cheaper than plexi. Your Sav won't be able to break glass if it's a similar thickness to large aquariums (not sure of exact measurment).
