I don't recall seeing much stuff on there from much of eastern Europe, but you could try searching some of the forums, etc at the Kingsnake.com European page.

What kinds of snakes are available to you where you live? Are there captive bred ones available, or only wild caught? We are happy to TALK to you about snakes....That's what we like to do.
What got you interested in the first place. Welcome to the forums. Duffy

Well it's a long story to tell about me. I loved snakes since I was a little boy. Now the thing is that i love them more because most people hate them and don't see their beauty. In my country most people hate snakes and kill them. But that's another story. They don't usally sell snakes in my country the ones i have are wild cought. But i hope i'll have babies pretty soon. I have a male and female Vipera ammodytes ammodytes and a male Vipera ursinii rakosiensis. By the way where are you from. Tell me more about you and what you have home and maybe we'll exchange some species in spring. Kind of all for now. Write me back.

What are the "common" names of those snakes? Are you presently keeping just the two? I am in the USA (Ohio) and keep mostly ratsnakes of North America. Are yours venomous? It seems that I have learned a bit about ratsnakes and some of the other North American colubrids, but I have little knowledge of many of the other species of the world, especially when it comes to the scientific names. Yes my snakes are venomous and their common names are the long nosed viper or sand viper and the other one is just vipera ursinii. I don't know any common names for it. I have 2 long nosed vipers and one ursinii. All 3 are venomous. So you collect ratsnakes. What ratsnakes do you have?
Why don't u send me an e-mail at god_sahly@hotmail.com and tell me when we can meet on a chat, like spinchat.com and talk more. It would be better this way I think. If you are on right now I am on spinchat right now in the room "party". Come in and we'll talk.
Till next time good luck and See U!

Not a real "chatroom" kinda guy. I'm on these forums alot, checking out the posts, and answering some basic questions when I can. I've emailed some of the gang here back and forth on a few topics. But I never got into the "chat" thing, and barely even do any Instant Messaging.
I have cornsnakes, black rats, texas rats,a "greenish" (black X
yellow intergrade) rat, and a couple of garter snakes. I currently have a kingsnake in my care also.
Be careful with those vipers! How toxic is the venom? Is there antivenom available nearby in case? Or is that not really an issue with those snakes? I am not very knowledgable at all on any of the venomous species. Are the folks in your area hostile towards snakes due to a fair amount of snakebite-related deaths?
Interesting. Duffy

Don't worry about the vipers. I'm safe because their venom is not so strong and I know their habits pretty well. Anyway my mother works in a hospital so I'm not very worried. I see u have more snakes than me. In summer I'm off to catch european whip snakes, smooth snakes, aeusculapian rat snakes and hopefully another subspecie of long nosed viper. By the way the long nosed viper is the most venomous viper in europe. Tell me your e-mail and I'll send you some pictures of them.
Hope 2 hear from u soon
Sahly.
