I say absolutely! My phelsuma really perk up when I put in a fly or moth-- anything different from the usual crickets, mealworms and waxworms...
Not sure whether the crested geck's/tokays would get 'em though--they're mainly active active at night.

i have never tried my phelsumas with house flies, dont seem to get many where we are, but they absolutely love moths, i have caught loads and they adore them, i also let certain boxes of waxworms turn into moths with they also love. I have read that some geckos find the dust from moths to be irritating, but as of yet none of my geckos seem bothered. Enjoy watching them chase the flying prey its really entertaining!
