Good idea for hide/play/rough surface for shedding or just bathroom area.

jerzreptile21 Feb 12, 2004 07:53 PM

Ive been using a rough brick with 3 holes in it that i found outside.I just disinfected it then baked it in the oven to kill parasites.I got it in 2 of my tanks for sumtime now and they love it.My geckos use it for a hide, they like to clinb on it ,and it has rough surface for shedding..Just an idea for ya.what u think ?

That is a good idea...... How large are the holes? Large enough for an adult gecko? I think its cool

Thats even more cool then, something i'll definetly look into I'm having a ton of trouble with my internet connection and i didn't even know you had replied.....i can't refresh pages and it takes forever for my post to actually send. Hopefully this will go through without trouble I like your idea. I've spent the day totally reorganizing my room, moved the 40 gal (the girls are sooooooooo not impressed LOL ) I have so much more room now......i can't wait for the April Toronto show... hehehehehe.

Again great idea I'll post pics when i get my tank set up

HEHE, i'm rather lucky....i have half of what was used to be the rec room for my personal space. Soon i'll have a larger chunck as my brother is moving back upstairs. I've spent a ton of time and pretty much ruined my back moving furniture around so that i could get more room I've got things pretty much worked out now so that i have easy access to all my tanks. Hopefully i'll have pics soon. My family just bought a new computer and i'm going to get a digital camera. It should save on alot of my film developing costs lol.
I try to make my setups as interesting as possible. I try to make my geckos as happy as possible and every new and great idea is very much appreciated
