I am so excited about putting my girls and boys together...i can't wait to see how they react to eachother. For now though its cool just watching the girls. LOL

Yes its 2am and i'm NOT asleep. Both of my male geckos are in shed and they are NOT being quiet about it, my dog is just freaking out....he's shaking non stop and whinning (must be the noise from the geckos....) and to top it off my brother brought home a friend who got locked out of his house...call me old fashioned but if my kid stayed out all night i'd lock him out too!!!! LOL.
Boo looks so funny with all his skin hanging off of him. Bronx....he hates me when he sheds......yes more so than normal. He always has so much trouble getting all the skin off and refuses to use his humid hide so now i mist his tank when he sheds.
I never thought geckos could make so much racket. I'm going to have to find a way to secure their hides so they cant move them around so much

LoL Poor you. Makes me glad that at 2 AM, the only thing I hear is the heater (hopefully, since it's COLD right now).
And as for the image... Well, I'm around high school students all day (student teacher) - and i'm just getting worse than I was before student teaching!!!

Apparently the only thing i don't hear is my alarm LOL My father woke me up just after 6 this morning to tell me to shut off my alarm hehehe. But, if the dog whines or the geckos decide to reorganize their tanks, it wakes me up....weird. Selective hearing LOL. I haven't slept well in months either.
I commend you for working with that age group of kids..... I know i couldn't do it. Working with mentally and physically disabled you'd think i'd have a ton of patience but when it comes to teenagers (no offence to anyone out there) i just want to pull out my hair. Theres no discipline or structure out there anymore.....thats why i'm a firm believer in kids having pets, as long as the parents are responsible. Pets demand both respect and long term care....teaches alot about being responsible.
Speaking of pets, my geckos seem to have a shedding schedule.....last night both males and this morning Zoe was walking around half undressed LOL. Since i was awake i watched both of the guys.....it must be so uncomfortable....having your skin get tight and then have to work to get it off. Zoe is almost done....the colours coming out in her are awesome

lol that sounds like me... except I'm tuned into my daughter's noises & movements (2-1/2 year old toddler sleeping in your bed can be painful when they kick!!!) I could sleep through a tornado, probably (NOT a good thing in TX!!!), but my daughter just barely peeps and i'm like what??!!
(btw I'm the same Dusty as thegeckobarn... this is the one i signed up with as an example for my students... lol i feel old everytime i type misswindom!!!)
