Updated Pics of a hatchling from my Project Female

John Q Feb 12, 2004 09:58 PM

This is my favorite hatchling from a group produced by breeding a hypo male to a female hypo that appeared to be a blood red. She lacked a solid belly and the hatchlings lacked gray heads. The belly shot of this hatchling sure does look similar to a blood. Her dorsal blotches spill over the sides and absorb her side blotches like a milksnake phase. Neither parent showed this type of patterning.

What a nice surprise for you. That's an attractive snake you've got there. It sure does have the milksnake-phase look in the saddles, and the color seems to be spreading out like a blood. Please post updated pics periodically.

>>I am probably different on this but if it was my snake I would hope like everything that it would maintain that pattern and not become more solid, as it gets older, like bloodreds do.
I think it would be one beautiful snake. I think it IS one beautiful snake.
keep us updated.

John,

That is an awesome colored offspring. It looks identical to the Bloodred outcross I have had.
