Has anyone on this board acctually reproduced them with any consistancy. I had a male years ago and was very fond of him.
I am breeding veilds right now. Does anyone know of another dry type chameleon that breeds well in captivity.

A few years back we were breeding them quite regularly and loved it. We stopped breeding them as at the time there was not alot of interest in the species. Personally I think they are an awesome species and I love how larger they grow to.

How many clutches di you get a year.
What size were they?
Do they grow slow or fast?
I would like 2.2. Nothing crazy just a few. I honestly think they are an under rated animal. There was a guy that brought cb babies to the columbus show. He produced alot.

On average we got 1-2 clutches per year out of our females. Of course they could breed more than that but we did not want to burn them out. We will have c.h. babies in about 9 months. Right now Chamco who advertises in the Classified section as well has C.B. Males available. They have a clutch that was just laid as well so they will have some available at about the same time as I will.
