Very nice photos, mind telling me more about the rack?
Sure, it’s a Rubbermaid rack, heated by incandescent bulbs that run down the middle. Each cage has a piece of tile, which retains heat, for them to ‘bask’ on. I plan to post detailed instructions on how it was built when I find time. Until then, this picture gives you a good idea of the overall look:

Oh yea that rack, just as a suggestion might want to try flexwatt down the back for heating, it will absorb into the rock and probably would work better, just don't let it get too hot and melt it.
I like your rack. Where did you find that Rubbermaid with suck clear drawers? It looks like hard plastic. The only ones I've seen are the foggy looking ones. How hot do they get with the incandescent lighting? Oh yeah your Leos are cool, especially that big reduced pattern.

Thanks Chad, I found the Rubbermaid racks at OfficeMax, each side is 2 units, stacked on top of each other. The temps are working very well for me, 91 on the tile piece, and 82 in the furthest corner. That’s with the dimmer up all the way, I’ll have to turn it down a bit in the summer.
I have to say that since you have sold me hippo hes doing great! He will eat out of my hands, walks onto my hand when I put it in the cage, and already got my female gravid. Here are some pics of him in his new home:

This guy is so friendly to me that its hard not to get a picture where he isn't trying to get to me.
BTW
Great looking leos, I'm interested to see what you come out with this year. may even buy some more leos from you

I’m really glad you and hippo are getting along well. I didn’t realize he was so photogenic; you’ve really gotten some cool shots of him! Give him a pinkie for me someday, and say it was from DaveCable. My breeding season is off to a good start, I can’t wait to see what pops out either, ill keep you all posted.
