reguarding temps...

symatic Feb 13, 2004 01:24 AM

I have recently set up my rack. My temps are ranging from 90F to 75F. Now this is the coldest it will ever reach on the cool end. During the summer the ambient temps jump up to 80F. SoCal weather is quite nice. Okay, are the cool side temps too low or is this okay for winter temps? The animals are not in these enclosures, so they are in no harm(just wanted to clarify).

I say don't worry. Temps are fine so long as hot spot remains available.

That should be just fine. As long as they have a choice, they can choose which temp they want, and so you don't have to make that decision for them.
