Did you get yours from Bert at Agama? That's where I got mine, and it has been the same. I have seen him only a couple of times since mid-December. From what I read, they will come out in mid-March and begin eating in April sometime. This is a completely natural behavior, and everyone has said to just leave them alone. There is no need to disturb them or check on them. They will wake up when they are ready. If you wake them up, they will naturally want to warm up and check things out. Warming up requires energy, and since they are not eating, they will be using their hibernation fat stores and will wither away and die if they are disturbed too often. This is especially true for hatchlings since they did not have time after being hatched to build up the fat stores the adults do. I say all this because I feel your pain! I can't wait until my little buddy comes out to play. If any of the more experienced owners see anything incorrect about what I said, PLEASE correct me.
