Okay, I own a 5 month old female veiled chameleon. I can't find anywhere on the intenet how long they life? Can you someone please tell me this

I also would like to know exactly how much she should be eating a day now, how much space she needs in gallons. (shes in a 100 gallon repterrium) thanks!!

we've had our veildeds live anywhere from 3-9 years. Usually an average of 6 years is common...

Our cages are...4' tall x 2' wide x 2' deep.

They all get 3 crickets per day and they eat lots of ficus and pothos...they also eat the odd housefly that wanders in the cage.

(there is now a double bulb fixture spanning across the cages...containing 1 plant bulb and 1 5.0 iguana light.

At that age (5 months) your cham should be on food restriction to prevent excessive egg production. I don't think I've ever heard of a cham starving to death (except with completely negligent keeper) but MANY die from over-feeding, especially the females.
