What do you use to mist your cages??

bristen Feb 13, 2004 08:04 AM

Hi everybody,

I was just wondering what everybody uses to mist their cages... I have spray bottles, but to give every cage a decent misting, I end up with "carpal tunnel syndrom"sp?) before I'm done!! I need some kind of pressurized bucket of warm water and all I have to do is press a button on the end of a hose or something.. what do people that have hundreds of cages do?? I have only a few but I find I already have too many to use a spray bottle

Thanks for any replies or suggestions!

Bristen.

There are some shops online that sell misting systems, but I'll tell you the easiest way to get what you asked for: find a do-it-yourself pest control shop near you and buy a pesticide spray system. Just don't ever put any pesticide in it, and make sure you buy new.

I have one of those pump garden sprayers that you can buy just about anywhere. There is a lever on top to pump air into the container and a trigger releases the water. It works like a spray bottle, but without all the hand pumping to spray. You can even lock the trigger if that is too much LOL.

There is a product that you can buy that is a 10 gallon tank with a nozzle that you pressureize and press the trigger and it will spray, I don't know where you can get one but, they do exist, try your local pet store as I see them there all the time being used by the staff.

A ten gallon pressurized tank? I think he wants to mist his snake, not drown it...
