what is the consensus on snails as feeders? I remember reading that the montane chams like to eat snails in the wild.

Some chams seem to love them but it varies. I got a colony of land snails from Carolina Biological Supply years ago and my jax and melleri really enjoyed them. DON'T use aquatic snails. They are vectors for parasites, so you want to get a captively produced colony if you can and check your chams who eat them for parasites periodically.

Do you de shell them, or do they eat the shell too?
