I've had contact with people lately who use a grading system that seems to be used in the pet trade regarding the condition of animals. Could someone please explain this grade system A,B,C, etc.

The only term I've heard used is 'B grade', which refers to an animal with a cosmetic imperfection that doesn't affect its health in any way.... e.g. a healed nose rub, one eye

"The serpent crams itself with animal life that is often warm and vibrant, to prolong an existence in which we detect no joy and no emotion. It reveals the depth to which evolution can sink when it takes the downward path and strips animals to the irreducible minimum able to perpetuate a predatory life in its naked horror."

...makes me wonder what my iguana thinks about my eating habits.
Does anyone know the rest of this grade system and what might happen to lesser grade animals after long and downward treatment by some in the trade who may not have the animal in mind as they get graded downward to say C and D which I've seen feeder anoles graded at.
