I'd love to have that Nikon D70. I entered for a chance to win one on their website. I won't hold my breath, but I'll cross my fingers!

Is it snowing over there?

I'm gonna enter too....didn't know there was a contest. No it didn't get down this far. Is it snowing up there? I'm gonna make a run to the Hill Country today if there's some snow to get some IR pictures. Do you guesses where this is from? Hint: not too far from where you (and I) used to live.

Well, the sun is out now and most of the snow has melted here in SA, but I think there might be snow in the hill country north and west of here.

That picture...Guadalupe Mountains? but I'm not sure where. I never did get to hunt on the NM/TX border very much, but it looks close to that area.

Good Guess...It is the Guads. I'm out the door. Gotta take the wife and daughters to Bennihana's (sp) on I-10 for Valentines.

Nice camera! Did you see the resolution? The Panasonic Lumix has a 12X optical zoom, but it's only 4MP. I was looking for a 10X zoom at least 5-6 MP.

If you're into the antique look, this Epson should satisfy. I think it looks pretty cool.

I am super excited about that one. I have been waiting for Minolta to get off their a$$ and bring one out and all the pre-press is great.

Can't wait for October (when it will hit the streets, presumably!). A just think, a few weeks ago I almost gave up and sold all my great Maxxumm equipment and went over to Canon just to get a Digital Rebel! Whew! That was close!

It makes me want to trade in my tired old Dimage 5, especially with the anti-shake feature.

It will give a lot of information, and test photos, too.
