why bother saving on the price of your lizard, when you will have 2 spend much much much more on the enclosure and maintanence(monitors eat a lot!), furthermore i would adivize you 2 get a captive bred, will save you from a lot of trouble in the future.
I would advice you first 2 read more into monitors, and come up with more concrete questions, we cant pick the monitor you are going 2 like

i mean, i have already set aside a few hundred for cage/food and what not, dont really have much money left over : ), maybe i should just save up and get ackies.
