best type of lid?

aps929 Feb 13, 2004 02:52 PM

I'm about to get a baby BT the end of this month. Until I build him a larger cage, I was going to keep him in a 20gal. I'm not sure what type of lid to build. I've got an extra one that is just welded wire screen, but I was wondering if that would let too much heat excape. Should I use some other type of material for the lid to conserve heat?

Best type of lid to use is probably custom made by you for the tank. You are right, the screen lid will probably let too much heat escape, unless it is covered or altered.
