confused about broccoli

coxkimberly Feb 13, 2004 02:58 PM

I tried to find the answer to this question in the archives but got conflicting answers. Is it okay to feed my bearded dragon broccoli?

It won't kill him, but it isn't good for him either. Broccoli blocks the absorption of calcium, so if fed often could lead to a calcium deficiency. Once in a while wouldn't hurt him, but there are a lot of better things to feed.
