Brumating Budgett's Frog

Lenny Feb 13, 2004 03:10 PM

How long do Budgett's Frogs usually brumate? Mine has been burried 2 weeks now. Should I dig him up in a month or should I wait for him to emerge by himself?

From what ive heard that should long enough. What you can do to get him to wake up is just spray down the soil so your frog becomes moist.

I don't have a budgett's, but my Pixie will do the same thing. I just let him be and he comes to the surface when he gets hungry enough.

I would generally say a month minimum for brumating a budgett's.
