Does anyone here use ZooMed's PowerSunUV?
If so what wattage do you use the 100 or 160?
And what does it get the temps up to?
Thanx

powersun is a good bulb , but you should only use it in a large cage, the bulb can get you around 110 to 120 or better depends on your room temp also, so depends on what size enclosure you have, the bulb is great it gives great color for the uros, and makes them more lively these are my experiences. i like the bulbs personally. hope this helps
I have a 160 in my 4 foot by 2 foot by 2 foot cage and it gives optimal temps.I was a bit leery and afraid of making it too hot in there but i'm very happy with how it's turned out temperature wise. Not to mention the added UV rays he seems to enjoy.I can't comment long term as i've only had my Uro for a few weeks now but all seems well and he's active, and nice and chubby.
Pictures are a bit on the big side but you can see what i mean.

I also use the Powersun UV, 160 watt. Most of my cages are glass, but I also have one wood cage. The 100 did not get the basking spot hot enough, so I only use the 160. Most of my cages are 4' long. I have, however, had two bulbs fail on me after very short usage. I did return them to Zoomed and they replaced them. I also tried the T-Rex active UV heat bulb and both bulbs I bought loosened from the metal socket and quit working only about 6-8 weeks after I got them. My cages are such that I do not have to move the bulbs at all, so in my opinion the bulbs were defective, so I would not buy the T-Rex again. Hope this helps.

I have used both these bulbs and some other lesser know name "knock offs".
The cheaper brands had that same problem of becoming loose, flickering and not being useable. I have had shortened lifespan issues but that was mostly in the beginning. I have had no problem with any of the T-Rex or Zoomed bulbs as of late.
The one thing thatI would advise-
There is a minimum safe distance listed on the instruction sheet of these bulbs-
