Welcome to kingsnake.com's message board system. Here you may share and discuss information with others about your favorite reptile and amphibian related topics such as care and feeding, caging requirements, permits and licenses, and more. Launched in 1997, the kingsnake.com message board system is one of the oldest and largest systems on the internet.

The largest species is Aegypticus (Egyptian). Keep in mind that Uros need more space than many other lizards, so the Egyptians require enormous floor space. They are also more difficult to come by in the US than some of the other species.
Cost varies on the species, age, and whether the animal is WC or CB. The two most common referrals you will likely see for breeders are Doug Dix of www.deerfernfarms.com and Lindsay Pike of www.urotopia.com. I have dealt with Doug and have heard great things about Lindsay, too.
Good care sheets can be found at the deerfernfarms website and here on Kingsnake. There are many out there, some better than others, of course. If you have questions, feel free to ask!
