kurt18 Feb 13, 2004 05:13 PM

My girlfriend made the mistake of picking up parsley instead of dandilion greens. Would that be ok to feed? Well, atleast he will have good breath

If your ever wondering about a certain kind of food to feed go check out http://www.beautifuldragons.com

This list has all the nutritional content you could ever wish to have about BD food.

Basically the dandelion greens are most excellent and the parsley should be used sparsely.

I usally give a mixture of turnip greens and cilantro. Since parsley is related to cilantro it should be fine if you mix it with something that has more nutritional value. My vet suggested the cilantro to make the veggies smell more and be more appetising to my uromastyx and I figure it would work the same with my beardies since they have simular needs but not the same.

Parsley is actually very high in calcium and is an excellent green to feed bearded dragons, provided it is mixed with the main stables, such as collard greens, dandelion greens, turnup greens, endive or escarole.
